"Happy birthday!"Cheered mom as Axel woke up.Axel has now turned 12,he didn't care much about birthdays,pretending to be happy or surprised just for the sake of his family,but this year,this year it was different...
Axel is a teenage boy living with his mother and his younger sister in the region of Sinnoh,ever since his father passed away,he hasnt been the same,today he plans to set off on his journey to get to the Sinnoh league,it is as he once told his mother "starting a new life".He packed up everything he needed,thoughts of his whole journey flowing in his head,overflown with joy,he even smiled a big grin,something he hasnt done since a while.He walks away as his mother and sister stand by the door waving goodbye and rooting for him.Next door lives his life long friend,who was already waiting for him to take the first steps into the sandgem town together....
"Are you ready?"Asked Barry anxiously,Axel nodded."We're leaving Twinleaf town....Where we grew up,where we met,where we spent our lives....can we do it?"
Side-by-side the two friends started walking on the small grassy road,looking into the horizon wondering where will there adventures take them.Numerous Pokemon are seen splashing in the clear water and playing around in the forest,and Pokemon cries are heard everywhere,and each time this happens,Barry keeps getting more and more pumped up and Axel keeping his cool but hiding his true feelings,on the inside,his heart was jumping out of joy.
As they reach a cross road the two pause a little:"Which way to go?!"Asked Barry nervously thinking that they already lost they're way.Axel approaches a sign in the middle of the road that reads 'Left to verity lake-front,right to Sadgem town'
